WE ARE OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 6:30 pm, Sunday 11 am - 5 pm.
MBTB first opened in 1983 at 37th and Hawthorne. When a rapid rise in rents forced a move down the street, customers showed up to help carry boxes of books to the new location. MBTB is currently owned by Barbara Tom and Carolyn Lane, and staffed by Jean May, Nick Slosser, Jackie McQuistin and John Caruso, who, among them, have almost 100 years experience working at the store.
